
TRIO Upward Bound hosted at Mercer County Community College is a tuition-free, year-round academic enrichment program geared towards Trenton high school students (9th - 11th grade). The program provides enrolled students with supplemental core classes (i.e.: Math, English and Science) and workshops that will prepare students for college. The program also offers:
- After school tutoring
- Cultural enrichment activities
- College visits
- Peer and Group counseling
- SAT preparation courses
- College application assistance
TRIO Upward Bound - MCCC students meet after school and on Saturdays during the academic year (school year) and weekdays during the summer.
Application

- Submit an essay response
- Attach a copy of Social Security Card or Alien Registration Card
- Provide two teacher or community leader references
- Provide proof of parent/guardian income
Eligibility
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Live in Trenton, New Jersey
- Attend Trenton Central High Schools (includes 9th grade academy)
- Demonstrate academic potential
- Be first generation and/ or low-income
