The Greater Trenton College Access Network (TCAN) is a collaboration among community-based organizations, schools, universities, and public institutions that serve the greater Trenton, NJ area. We seek to strengthen college-access and workforce development programming in support of students from underserved communities as they navigate the path to and through higher education and/or vocational training.

Our Priorities

To create and nurture a space for professional collaboration and regional engagement around the college, career, and personal development of middle and high school students in the Greater Trenton community.

To create and support area-wide events for college planning and financial aid

To share tools and resources for the network, youth, and parents, including an events calendar, scholarship information, student development opportunities, and related events and opportunities.

To create professional development opportunities for program staff that address critical needs of the network and changes in the field.

To create a “college and career planning” space for community-based organizations and local institutions at Trenton Central High School.
